Feb 27th.. End of The Journal
Hiyaa… I’m waiting in the boarding room of Changi Airport right now.
A bit boring so I decided to write here.
Yesterday was fun.
I went to Sentosa Island and I got to meet Dina, my old friend, a Singaporean.
She accompanied and guided me all day.
Years ago, she went to Jakarta and stayed at my house.
That’s why this time I visit her back.

Well, let’s get back to yesterday.
I went to Chinese Garden.
It was beautiful, but really hot.
We should have brought foods there because it’s a perfect place for picnic.
We just walked along the garden, took pictures, admired the statues and towers.
It was sooo hot and I should have brought my straw hat… :(

Joo Chiat Road in the morning was very different with what I saw last night.
Some tissues and cigarette trash on the pavement, old women riding bicycle, women buying groceries, and empty road.
We walked 15-20 minutes to the nearest MRT station (Paya Lebar), bought EZlink cards for each of us (12 SGD for 15 SGD inside).

Here I am, in the middle of nowhere..
Kidding. I’m in another country, 1,5 hours away from home :)
I feel like lost in translation tho.
People here speak English that doesn’t sound like English.
They speak Malay that makes me unsure whether it’s just me, but I don’t understand what they’re saying.

Holiday
It’s nice to spend holiday with people you love..
I have moved back home (bye dorms).
I’ll miss my friends back there, but I know we’ll find ways to catch up.
I spend my holiday with G…. a lot.
I’m so thankful that mum and dad are okay with it.
I’m sure they’ll understand that it’ll be hard for us to meet after I start working.
